| Being offered for auction is a ~~FABULOUS~~ primitive dough box which would sit on the old harvest table or work center. It is approximately 29" long and 12" tall and 12" wide. |

The interior of the dough box has appropriate wear with lighter wood shadows to show where the lid was kept on the box. |


| The dough box lid has two handles to provide for a nice balance when holding for removal. The pine wood is like velvet! FABULOUS PATINA! |


| The right-hand side of the lid has a hole available for hanging the lid on a nail while the cook was preparing the dough. |


| Original construction included square nails. |

| Charming semi-heart shaped handles are a hallmark of this beautiful and rare piece. |
